You can now pay for your city of Galt utility bill with MasterCard or VISA in our office; or by using the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. To use the IVR, you must first set up your account by calling (209) 366-7150 Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

The Finance Department plans, directs, and coordinates the fiscal affairs of the City in accordance with specific objectives established by legal and professional standards. It provides for the maintenance of the City’s financial records, develops related systems and provides management with information necessary for sound fiscal decisions. This includes appropriations control, costs and revenue accounting, accounts receivable, utility billing, payroll, accounts payable, business licensing, central purchasing, central cashiering and budget preparation.
