Community Development

The mission of the Building Department is to safeguard public safety, health and welfare through effective administration and enforcement of local ordinances and California Building Codes. We review construction plans, issue permits and conduct inspections for building, plumbing, mechanical and electrical permits. Most importantly, however, our helpful staff works closely with you to achieve compliance with code requirements and to facilitate construction in a timely maner.
